The Daily Grail Questionnaire with Bezel's Chase Pion

Part Proust, Part Vogue's 73 Questions, and Part Colbert Questionnaire, Chase Pion, Bezel's CFO/COO and Co-Founder, answers The Daily Grail Questionnaire.

What’s your favorite time of day?

Sunset – best spent in the ocean or at least on the beach

Last meal: where, what, and with who?

A post-surf dinner on the beach in Santa Barbara, CA with my parents and two younger brothers. It would have to be breakfast burritos (incorrect time of day – I’m aware) followed by bottomless chocolate lava cake.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Driving my 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider with the top down in the summer

Song on repeat?

Shades by Tchami is a current favorite but any upbeat, feel-good song will do

What is your most treasured possession?

I have a journal of all my “Best Days Ever,” and few things make me happier than reading back through it. You’d be surprised how often you forget all the wonderful things that have happened in your life!

Best accessory?

Dice! I absolutely love games so I often carry around a pair of dice. You never know when you’ll be with a group of people who proclaim to be bored.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

For the first 15 years of my life, my diet consisted almost exclusively of quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken tenders. My parents had me try absolutely everything and now that I eat almost anything, our theory is that my tastebuds were late bloomers.

Best action movie?

The Untouchables.

Dream watch?

De Bethune DB28 XP Starry Sky

What is your motto?

Life is all about balance.

Style icon?

Robert Redford. I’m certainly not known for my style as I prefer to be barefoot in a bathing suit but if I did develop some, I think he’d be a worthy influence.

What do you want to be remembered for?

Being someone that others can go to for advice and solutions when the going gets tough. I’d love for others to say, “If I really needed help with something important, I’d call Chase!”
