With more men wearing smaller watches from the likes of Cartier, its only logical that some would choose to accessorize with other unexpected pieces. Which is where Daily Grail is today, exploring the love of the clover, no not the four leaf, the Van Cleef.
Arguably the OG of the Alhambra affliction, LeBron James quickly went from one of Van Cleef's famous bracelets to three! Frequently pairing it with incredibly rare Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks, one can't help but think it started out sentimental and then went straight to sartorial swag.
Another Royal Oak lover, Kevin Hart chose to wear not only two Alhmabra bracelets, but also the matching gold guilloché necklace on a James Corden apperance last summer. Paired with an openwork Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and green leather ensemble, Hart proved VCA can be added to just about any outfit.
Taking a brief pause from the seemingly customary Van Cleef/Audemars coupling, Chris Paul, stacked his Alhambra bracelet with the unmistakable reissue of Vacheron Constaintin's 222. A big surprise and possibly the favorite, Paul is rarely seen wearing bracelets of this variety making the mini arm party even more delightful. Following behind LeBron's same-wrist stack, the Phoenix Suns Point Guard expertly accessorized his gold timepiece with the matching VCA bracelet, or is it the other way around?
Last but certainly not least, Offset has shown his love for the distinctive french jeweler more than once, wearing pieces from not only the Vintage Alhambra, but also the Magic Alhambra collection. Pairing the stack with a ceramic Openwork Royal Oak from Audemars Piguet, of course, he immediately joined the LeBron and Kevin's club. It goes without saying, but Cardi B certainly gets an honorable mention for this one, as the Alhambra is clearly a family affair; coining the jeweler's pieces as her "charms" in a recent Instagram post. Not for nothing, Cardi once again proved she can hang with the best of them, by also pairing her stack of seven Van Cleef bracelets with a rose gold Royal Oak.
